About My Online Store!

Hello! It's me again. Today, I will be talking about what I'm currently working on.
If you read the Top 5 Fashion Bloggers On My List post, you would know that I own an online store.
The name of my store is "Lunar Cult", I know it's kind of scary but it's inviting as well.
"Join the cult. We come in peace." is the tag line. Indonesians never dare to own an online shop named after 'scary' things (ex: cult). So, I made one myself.

And, I made a CV to apply an additional scholarship (other than the TGD) and this store made me earn the "$3500 Merit Award" in NAFA. It was surprisingly awesome.

Opened on November 2013, Lunar Cult has been a leading label for alternative accessories and is well known for the 90s chokers until now. When I first published the store, people came racing to buy them, I was happy. Unexpectedly, within weeks, Lunar Cult is the trendsetter for 90s fashion in my country.
Popular artists, actresses and fashion bloggers are even wearing what I'm selling. My chokers are often seen on TV (artists wearing them), social media (fashion bloggers) and even in movies! So, I decided to ship worldwide too because a lot of international buyers are interested.

My current profit is SGD$4000 (nett), with a daily income of more or less $200 per week (currently). On the last few days, It was hectic, since the new arrivals had attracted so many people. Here are some pictures of what I'm selling, and people wearing them!

Oh.. And all of my products are handmade one by one. So each of them are really special.

Here are some of the apparels I made for my store..

This is the packaging for the chokers..

And lastly, here are some pictures of popular people wearing them!

1. Cleopatra (national actress), wearing the yin yang choker during her movie shooting

2. Aiiness & Gabriella Olivia (From my top 5 fashion bloggers) wearing my Oversized Alien Necklace in Pink!

3. Alika Islamadina (national artist) wearing the snowflake choker!

Thank You! See you on the next post.

Favorite: Jeremy Scott

Hi again! Today I will be writing about my favourite fashion designer.

My sense in fashion is surely not everyone's cup of tea, but that's the reason why I am at NAFA.
To be different.

"Why do we try to fit in, When we are born to stand out?"

 Jeremy Scott (www.jeremyscott.com)

Jeremy Scott is an American fashion designer.
He started his career in the late 1990s showing in Paris Fashion Week. Vogue called his spring 2000 ready-to-wear show "a witty reply to all his detractors, who had accused him in the past of producing outlandish clothing that no one would wear.
In the last few years, he collaborated with Adidas to make limited edition shoes..

In 2014, He was recruited by Moschino to be their Creative Director.
Here are his creations when he entered the team...

The reason he is my favorite designer is because he plays with different kind of patterns that instantly grabs the attention of the viewer. He uses alternative concepts that makes him different than other designers.
Jeremy Scott also has an online store, where he sell his designs. His website is even different than regular online stores. He uses GIFs to display his clothes/shoes, to view it directly, you can go to www.jeremyscott.com
Here are some screenshots of his website, and what he's selling..

That's it for today's post! Thank you for reading and have a nice day!

HAIR!

Back again writing posts, now this time it's about HAIR! Particularly, hair colour!

I am obsessed with unnatural hair dyes. Whether it's blue, pink, green, orange, purple.. It's a daring look that I love. Under-layers, Ombre or even fully dyed, they are so gorgeous to look at.

This obsession starts when I (sort of) finished high school. Even before I started to dye my hair, I'm always fascinated by colours. In high school, I wasn't allowed to dye my hair, so I started after finishing school.
Starting with an under-layer model, which is the model I'm still currently having right now, is a low-maintenance style since I don't have to worry so much about re-touching the roots. Here are some of the examples of an under-layer dyes.

So, basically under-layed dyed hair only takes half of our hair. If we don't have naturally blonde hair, we need to bleach it several times, so that the colour will be vibrant.
Another hair style is 2012's most popular, Ombre.

Lastly, A fully dyed hair! Which I am aiming for!

Thank you for reading this post! Until next time!
