The Journey: South Singapore, Marina Bay!

Hi! My name is Sharon Chrysilla from class VA1D. This is my first post in my Creative Thinking blog. In this article, I would like to share my experience in exploring Marina Bay since I've never been there before :)

From where I live, the nearest MRT Station is Bras Basah, so I took the train to Dhoby Ghaut (Red Line) and immediately catch the train to Marina Bay, which is at the end of the red line.

The comfortable ambience inside the MRT

Upon arrival, I honestly don't know where to go. At first, I planned to visit the high-end mall.. But unfortunately I got lost in Marina Bay with only an umbrella. It was scary at first but I forced myself to keep walking...

During the walk, I found the sign "Marina Bay Link Mall", I thought this was the mall I was planning to visit.. But I was wrong once again, I don't know that this particular mall is only an underground way to multiple MRT stations with few shops inside. Although I was wrong, I kept walking with a hope I could see some beautiful scenery or the mall.

Leaving The Marina Bay Link Mall

When I took the escalator, I got a peek of what's outside. It was beautiful park! I was so surprised that there's a park in this CBD area. There are a lot of people that jogged around the park and there are even children that brought their dogs too. It was an amazing scenery as well, because we can see the Marina Bay Hotel, the ferris wheel and buildings from a far. Here's some pictures I took...

After I finished walking around the park, I decided to go back to the Marina Bay Link Mall to cool off. It was very hot that day! Then I decided to buy some smoothie from the Smoothie King.

I bought the "Very Berry" smoothie for the first time in Singapore! It was very tasty and worth $5. I was addicted to this smoothie since this day. It is perfect for the hot weather!
After hanging at Smoothie King for a while, I decided to go back home with the MRT. It was an adventurous day, and I would like to get lost in Singapore again :D

Thank You for reading this post.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
