3D PROJECT: IRIDESCENT

Hi! Today I'm going to be talking about my 3D assignment, which is about templates and repetitions.
I'm using old CDs, a wood as a base and titanium scissors to cut it.

This 3D sculpture is made of pieces of broken CDs (recycled) with a black painted wood base. This artwork is inspired by how people think, people’s imagination to be exact and that is why it looks like an abstract half-headed person. The CD’s colour is iridescent, which is somehow similar to people’s mind because imagine wild and unrealistic dreams and basically good things that reflect on our daily life. Similar like the spectrums of light projected by the CDs.
